The Odell Singers (Originally The Paula Day Singers)

are a mixed choir/singing group which has been established for 8 years. Within the group there is a wide level of abilities but everyone in the choir is progressing whilst under Paula's direction. 

The group works on vocal technique, correct breathing, performance skills (even small scale choreography) and solo singing, this is combined with a good varied repertoire of songs which means that the sessions are always enjoyable.

This choir performs locally at community events, nursing homes and fund raising concerts. New members are always welcome (if you can find a chair) and the venue provides a hot or cold drink after the session. This is a great singing group for anyone who wants to develop their vocal technique, interact socially and stay healthy. Reading music is not a requirement but having a good sense of humour is. 

In 2022 The Odell Singers made Terry Bytheway's wish come true.

It was his dream to perform 'Something Inside So Strong' with a choir. On Monday 25th July 2022 Terry performed the song with the Odell Singers at The James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough and raised money for the Trinity Holistic Centre and South Cleveland Heart Fund.
